About Studio Color

Studio Color is a production management platform for independent film and television crews, operated by Raw Color Studios. Our software provides producers, directors, production designers, and department heads with tools to manage script breakdowns, budgets, schedules, crew coordination, equipment tracking, and production paperwork — all in one collaborative workspace.

Services Offered

Studio Color is offered as a subscription-based software service (SaaS). Subscriptions are available on monthly or annual billing cycles at the following tiers:

Additional script analyses are available as one-time purchases:

• 1 analysis — $5.00
• 3 analyses — $12.00
• 5 analyses — $15.00

All prices are in US dollars. Subscription access is granted immediately upon successful payment. Purchased script analysis credits are applied to the selected project immediately upon payment confirmation.

Refund & Dispute Policy

Monthly Subscriptions

Monthly subscription charges are non-refundable. You may cancel at any time and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period, after which no further charges will be made.

Annual Subscriptions

If you are unsatisfied with your annual subscription, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription within 14 days of your initial purchase or annual renewal date. After 14 days, annual subscription fees are non-refundable. To request a refund, contact us at hello@rawcolorstudios.com with your account email and reason for the request.

One-Time Purchases

Script analysis credits are delivered digitally and credited to your project immediately upon payment confirmation. One-time purchases are non-refundable once delivered.

Disputes

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us at hello@rawcolorstudios.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. We are committed to resolving billing disputes promptly and fairly. Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us may result in account suspension.

Cancellation Policy

You may cancel your Studio Color subscription at any time with no cancellation fee.

• To cancel, log in to your account and visit the Billing page, then click Manage subscription. This opens the Stripe customer portal where you can cancel immediately.
• Upon cancellation, your subscription will not renew at the next billing date. You will retain full access to all features until the end of your current paid period.
• Cancellation does not delete your account or project data. Your data is retained and accessible if you choose to resubscribe.
• Unused script analysis credits are non-transferable and expire if your account is permanently deleted.

Promotional Terms

From time to time, Studio Color may offer discount codes, promotional pricing, or limited-time offers. Unless otherwise stated at the time of promotion:

• Discount codes apply to the first billing period only and do not recur.
• Promotions cannot be combined with other offers or applied retroactively.
• Promotional pricing is available to new subscribers only unless explicitly stated otherwise.
• Studio Color reserves the right to modify or end any promotion at any time without notice.

Legal & Export Restrictions

Studio Color is available to users worldwide where Stripe payment processing is supported. By subscribing, you represent that:

• You are not located in, or a national or resident of, any country subject to US government embargo or designated as a "terrorist supporting" country.
• You are not listed on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties, including OFAC Specially Designated Nationals lists.
• You will use the service only for lawful purposes and in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.

Terms of Use

By creating an account and using Studio Color, you agree to the following:

• Studio Color grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the service for your internal business purposes during your subscription period.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
• You may not resell, sublicense, or otherwise transfer access to the service to any third party.
• Studio Color reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or misuse the platform.
• The service is provided "as is." While we strive for high availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and are not liable for losses resulting from downtime or data loss beyond our reasonable control.
• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of competent jurisdiction in California.

Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Raw Color Studios ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Studio Color, including our website at studiocolor.io and our mobile application (collectively, the "Service").

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: Your name, email address, and profile details provided when you create an account via email/password or Google Sign-In.
• Production data: Content you create within the Service, including project details, script breakdowns, schedules, props, equipment, crew information, location notes, and uploaded photos.
• Payment information: Billing details processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number — Stripe handles all payment processing in accordance with their own privacy policy.
• Device and usage data: Device identifiers, operating system, app version, crash logs, and general usage patterns to help us improve the Service.
• Photos and camera: If you grant permission, the mobile app accesses your camera and photo library solely to let you upload prop, equipment, and location photos to your projects. We do not access your photos for any other purpose.
• Push notification tokens: If you opt in, we store a device token to send you production schedule notifications. You can opt out at any time in your device settings.

How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account and provide access to the Service.
• To store, sync, and display your production data across devices.
• To process payments and manage your subscription via Stripe.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmations, password resets, billing receipts).
• To send push notifications about schedule changes and production updates, if you opt in.
• To diagnose bugs, improve performance, and develop new features.
• To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Service.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Studio Color:

• Supabase — Database hosting, authentication, and file storage.
• Stripe — Payment processing and subscription management.
• Google Sign-In — Optional OAuth-based authentication.
• Expo / Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) — Mobile push notifications.

Each of these providers has their own privacy policy. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your production data is only accessible to members of your project team as you configure within the Service. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

Data Retention

We retain your account and production data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data and project content will be permanently deleted within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial compliance purposes (such as billing records).

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing of your data.
• Port your data to another service.

Children's Privacy

Studio Color is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
